Directed by Tamra Davis, the documentary features footage of Jean-Michel Basquiat painting, talking about his art and existing in the two years prior to his death in 1988. Jean-Michel Basquiat (December 22, 1960 – August 12, 1988) was an American artist, musician, poet, and producer. He began as a graffiti artist in New York City in the late 1970s and evolved into Neo-expressionist artist during the 1980s.
